If you have an old, gently used or even new mattress that needs a new home here are 3 places in the city on Winnipeg you can bring it to keep it out of the landfill. Save yourself the dump run and drop it off instead. Ask for a pick-up service if dropping off is not an option.
Mother Earth Recycling– They will accept your old mattresses and box springs for charge between the hours of 8:30 am – 4:30 pm Monday – Friday. Locate at 771 Main Street. Drop offs can be made at the loading door at the rear of the building on Austin Street off Sutherland Avenue. Look for the “Honk for Service” sign!

Hands of Hope– Drop-offs of a new or gently used mattress can be brought to the donation centre at 427 Dufferin Ave.
Centre du Flavie-Laurent– They will accept mattress and box spring donations between Monday-Friday 8:30am-3:30pm, Saturday 9am-noon at their 450, boulevard Provencher location.
